I met Joe through the Chamber of Commerce and emailed him about helping us plan a short vacation to the Caribbean. We ended up choosing Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic because we had been there once before and enjoyed it. Joe sent us several options for all-inclusive resorts and we picked one that we felt best suited us. The booking process was simple. Joe did everything! The morning of the departure, we were charged a $50 baggage fee for our checked bag. Joe had told us that one checked bag was free since we bought the trip insurance. But the lady at the airline counter said we didn't have the "right" insurance that covered a checked bag. Oh well, we thought. We paid it. When we got back, Joe contacted me and asked how the trip was. I said GREAT. The resort was wonderful. The staff was attentive. We enjoyed the food and drinks and pool and honestly - everything the resort offered. I told him about the $50 bag fee. He asked for the receipt. We didn't have one. All I was able to send was a transaction from my Bank of America card showing the charge. Joe was awesome enough to make that work and now we are going to be reimbursed the $50. I cannot tell you how impressed we were with Joe for doing this. In addition, Joe called us the day we left for our trip and the following day to check in. Just great service all around. We'll be using Joe again and telling our friends to call him if they need a great travel agent that really cares about his clients.
